Facial Massage
Facial massage releases tension, boost circulation and aids lymphatic drainage – helping to remove toxins. Different techniques will lift, tone, and re-contour the face. Stimulating facial muscles will prevent sagging due to age and stress.
Many of us hold tension in our muscles, and facial muscles are no exception. When facial muscles are tensed the skin becomes stressed, leading to exaggerate fine lines and wrinkles, inflammation, and puffiness. Sound familiar? Maybe its time for a facial massage.
Spend time each day on facial massage, with the therapeutic benefits and age-defying results you’ll be hooked. Facial massage is simple, and everyone can do it!
Let us age, but age well
Facial massage has a been a staple in my routine for over a decade; I practice by combining pressure point massage, lymphatic drainage, fascia release and muscle manipulation techniques which I have obtained through various worldwide theories and training.
Combining Guasha and facial rollers in more recent years to my home facial rituals, and I can safely say it’s a game changer when performed consistently. While I still love hands-on facial massage, the Gua sha and rollers are easy and convenient for those who have no facial massage training, and with my guidance, you will be a pro in no time.
What is Guasha?
Guasha practised for centuries as a form of traditional Chinese medicine, also known as ‘scraping the skin.” The benefits of conventional scraping with Guasha are great but, it leads to strong bruising, and many like me are not down with a bruised face, we can keep the scrapping technique to the body.
I use Guasha for deep muscle tension release, releasing fascia and lifting and sculpting alongside promoting lymphatic drainage and blood circulation. The technique is slow and steady, ranging from light to medium pressure.
Benefits of Guasha facial massage
The Guasha technique works to increase blood flow and helps move any stagnant energy that could be causing inflammation. The tool helps to support the lymphatic system and also reduces muscle tension, lifts, sculpts and contours the face. The stone naturally stays cool and has several curves and angles to shape the face.

What is a Facial roller?
A facial roller is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine, KdM roller uses Rose Quartz which is naturally cool to touch providing more health and healing benefits for the skin.
Facial rolling supports the lymphatic system’s natural detoxification process along with soothing muscle tension and contouring the face. Facial rolling boosts circulation and promotes a natural skin glow. It’s the ultimate tool to reduce puffiness in the face and relax facial muscles.
Facial roller can be used with a medium pressure to massage the muscles or a lighter pressure to work on the lymphatic drainage. Facial roller can also be used over top of sheet masks for a products push.
Place your roller in the fridge for ten minutes before using for extra cooling and reducing puffiness in the morning.
