Where science meets beauty- Crème Masque Vernix

Respect your skin’s natural barrier function. Those who know me well, know how much I stress about a healthy skin barrier. Healthy skin is a healthy barrier

Lets start treating the skin like an organ instead of an accessory. The skin’s outer layer is often refered to just a ‘dead layer’, but it is way more than that, and it has an essential role in skin health, so lets stop abusing it and lets protect and repair.

The effects of seasonal change can lead to a compromised skin barrier so we have to be extra careful how we treat the skin through fall/winter.

Introducing Creme Masque Vernix, the product that saved my skin this winter.

Yesss Biologique Recherche have done it yet again! The skincare line that keeps on giving.

A miracle in a jar, where science meets beauty!

This 2-in-1 product helps recondition and strengthen deficient and/or stressed epidermis by offering it a “second birth”; it can either be used as a cream or a intensive treatment masque.

Crème Masque Vernix reduces transepidermal water loss, repairs the DNA of skin cells damaged by UV rays and minimises the effects of ageing. It hydrates, repairs and protects.

Crème Masque Vernix was inspired to mimic the vernix caseosa, the waxy protective layer coating the skin of newborns. Rich in lipids (ceramides), peptides and antioxidants, Creme masque vernix will take dull lifeless winter skin to a radiant beauty returned from a week in the tropics.

Moisturising and restructuring agents of the barrier function of the epidermis: Cell Oligopeptides, Soya Lecithin, Complex of Ceramides and Omega 6 and 3 from Raspberry Oil, Luffa Oil, Ceramide Complex, Plant-based Squalane, Lanolin, Cholesterol Sulfate.

Balancing and repair agents: Placenta Extract, Carob Seed Extract, Yeast Extract.

Protective and antioxidant agents: Antioxidant Tripeptide, Anti-ROS and anti-RNS Antioxidant.

How I use

I use Crème Masque Vernix as an intensive treatment at least 4 nights a week. I am sure many have heard of the term slugging (popular across social media these days). The process involves smearing a thick layer of vaseline/ petroleum jelly over the face to create an occulsive barrier to prevent TEWL (Transepidermal water loss) in the skin. Great idea but there is absolutley NO way I would ever smear vaseline all over my face – black heads galor! If I am slugging I am doing it right with Creme Masque vernix, not only are you creating a protective barrier but you are feeding the skin with essential skin health ingredients.

Who can benefit?!

  • Those who enjoy winter sports
  • Dry/dehydrated skin
  • Impaired skin barrier
  • Long haul flights – lather the skin during a flight
  • Post flight skin recovery
  • Dry cold climates

Slug in style with Crème Masque Vernix

with skin love

Kimberly
